THE JOB:
To assist Grove Group’s sales teams to deliver a technical demonstration of services to potential customers and to guide new and potential customers through migration and configuration of hosted solutions to facilitate a smooth transition.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Professional IT qualification (MCSE, Computer Science)
- 5 Years working experience in a relevant IT position
- Project Management Skills
- Change Management skills (advantageous)
- Good knowledge of corporate email platforms (Exchange / Google Apps / Lotus Domino)
- Exposure to cloud solutions / environments.
- Proven track record of service delivery in changing IT environments.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA:
- Ability to self-manage workload / tasks.
- Ability to learn quickly and stay up to date with technologies changing on a daily basis.
- Comfortable to talk about technical services at boardroom level
- Team player but also be able to work without supervision
- Willing to travel nationally as and when required
- Willing to work overtime if required by the workload
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Attend meetings with Business Development Manager to assist with technical demonstration of solutions
- Identify best solution to fit customer needs.
- Develop a project plan
- Scope out the project work
- Liaison between new clients and Grove on technical matters
- Build and manage relationships with existing customers
- Provide training to customers and potential customers
- Deploy solutions
- Keep the Deployment Manager up to date on the current status of projects and go lives
- Identify ways to improve service delivery
- Assist sales teams with technical questions from potential customers
